Ji-Young is currently working as an Assistant to the Honourable Tony Clement, Member of Parliament for Parry Sound-Muskoka, President of the Treasury Board. In Parliament, she communicates with constituents on a daily basis on how to make Parry Sound-Muskoka and Canada a better place.Prior to working in the House of Commons, she worked as a Women Entrepreneurship Trainer at Pro-Link, a partner NGO of Crossroads International. For five months in rural areas in Ghana, she provided business skills training for 8 groups of 15 to 25 women living in poverty or living with HIV/AIDS, and created 3 business plans. Ji-Young is passionate about community work. She is currently the Director of Parliamentary Program for Hanway Society, a network of Korean-Canadian young professionals living in Ottawa. She recently founded the Parliamentary Program, which will be providing translation services to Korean-Canadians with language barriers to help communicate with their Members of Parliament. In addition, she is a member of Persons against the Crime of Trafficking in Humans (PACT-Ottawa), Ottawa Outdoors Club, and Ottawa New Horizons Band.
